Jacob was on the tax list of 1788 and owned 140 acres of land. On 9 Jan 1797 a petition was put forward to the Orphan's Court in Northampton Co., by his eldest son John for division of Jacob;s land as he died intestate. Thenpetition names all of Jacobs living children: John, Elizabeth, Catherine, Susanna, Mar y, Henry, and Jacob
