His date of death is not known but he and wife were sponsors at a baptism in 1789 and he was not mentioned in his son's will in 1802 although Apollonia was mentioned. Johannes was a widower when he married Apollionia. They immigrated soon after th eir marriage according to records in the Hettenhausen Evangelical Church Register. The earliest mention of them in PA is the birth of Johannes george in Oct 1762. John Miller is the only Miller listed on the Heidelberg township tax list of 1772. T he family was listed as among those present for Holy Communion on 19 Oct 1776 in the Reformed Congregation of the Heidelberg Church. |
